i am doing a shakeology cleanse next week and very excited!  It is three days of basically shakeology mixed with water…and for dinner you can have a large green salad with approx 3 oz white protein.  Not sure what day I am starting yet….but, hoping to get good results!  If I don’t do this week….I will let you know:)

I tried so hard to get my look…well, kind of  “the notebook”.  This is an adorable vintage Swimsuit/ bathing suit/ playsuit…made by Catalina!  This is a thick cotton..high waist and button top.  All the beaches were LOADED today….so, I went with a park theme…(oh well…*sigh*).

Now…my hair is at the unmanage-able stage…and must wait until Thursday to shoot again:)  Thank God for my hair girl!  This …of course….is going on EBAY!

how cool is this???  This is a pretty unique jacket….these were not sold in stores.  I guess back then, sports memorabilia was not what it is today….anyway….these were given out by the Rooney family to friends and people who worked for them.  My friends uncle was Mr. Rooney’s attorney and so…..that is how i aquired this gem!

The 1976 Pittsburgh Steelers started the season looking to become the first team in the Super Bowl era to win three-straight league championships (and first since the 1929-1931 and 1965-1967 Green Bay Packers). However, many thought that would be in doubt after the team started 1-4 and saw quarterback Terry Bradshaw injured in the week 5 loss to the Cleveland Browns after a vicious sack by Joe “Turkey” Jones that has since become immortalized in NFL Films as part of the Browns-Steelers rivalry.

Despite the setbacks, the Steelers would turn it around behind the strength of the Steel Curtain and its dual threat at running back in Franco Harris and Rocky Bleier, who each rushed for over 1000 yards, finishing 10-4 and posting five shutouts. Rookie quarterback Mike Kruczek wound up going 6-0 starting in place of Bradshaw, largely due to the strength of the ground game. This would also stand as an NFL record for best start for a rookie quarterback until 2004–when the Steelers own Ben Roethlisberger more than doubled that record and went 13-0 as a starter his rookie season.

However, injuries to both Bleier and Harris in the playoffs caught up to them resulting in losing to the Oakland Raiders for the AFC Championship. Even with the Black & Gold coming up short, many Steelers fans–including the Rooney family themselves–consider the 1976 Steelers the best team in franchise history, even better than all six world championship teams.

So, I wasn’t real up for the beach today…and had to shoot something:) so i picked this late 70s early 80s *ibelieve* Jantzen pin up swimsuit and decided to do the “laying out in the backyard theme”. Turned out ok i think:)????? not great…but bear with me…better photos coming soon!

i love this dress…unfortunately, it is a pretty decent weight poly so you kind of need to wait for a cool summer night (we have not had many of those!) or wait for your back to school shopping! it is fab though…looks barely worn if at all!!! i will be posting tonight and on sunday on EBAY!
